About ObjectTracer
ObjectTracer is a free, real-time 3D globe that shows everything moving above you — live flights, ships, the ISS, satellites, rocket launches, near-Earth asteroids, and deep-space galaxies — in one place, with no signup and no ads.
What you can track
- Flights. Live aircraft positions, routes, altitude and speed from open ADS-B receivers worldwide.
- The ISS and satellites. Live orbital positions, plus a 4K stream and crew manifest for the space station.
- Ships. Maritime vessels reporting over AIS, on the same globe as the planes above them.
- Rocket launches. Countdowns, pad locations and mission details, with a reminder before liftoff.
- Near-Earth asteroids. Close approaches from NASA data, to scale.
- Deep space. The Moon, the solar system, and hundreds of thousands of real galaxies.
How it works
The server streams only the objects in your current view over one WebSocket connection, and the globe draws thousands of them in a handful of GPU calls — genuine WebGL 3D geometry built with Three.js, not a flat map image.
